About
the crew.

The Chair Syndicate is a free club for adult wheelers (18+) across Massachusetts — tough, able, and as tight as a crew gets. Supporters ride with us too.

The Chair Syndicate emblem, with the words No Pity. Just Power. No pity. Just power.

No pity.
Just power.

That line isn’t a slogan we bought. The Chair Syndicate started in Newcastle, Australia, built on one idea: a wheelchair club could run like a motorcycle club. Colors. Loyalty. Strength, identity, independence, and community. Massachusetts is the first chapter in the United States.

Members and supporters

Members are wheelers. Joining is free. Pick up a Club ID shirt and you’re wearing the colors.

Supporters are family, friends, caretakers, and anyone who backs the crew. You don’t need to join to buy Supporter gear, and you never need to justify wearing it. If you come along with a member, wear it to meetups — it lets the whole crew spot you fast if your wheeler needs a hand.

Plenty of the crew roll independently. Caretakers are welcome, never required; the club just doesn’t provide care staff.

Ed Ramstrom, US Ambassador

Ed runs the Massachusetts chapter and reads every signup himself. If somebody in another state wants to start a chapter, he’s the one who picks up the phone.
